From the street hockey rinks of Somers Point to the ranks of the United States Marines.  Jordan Stanton played street hockey as a six year old and every year after until the age of 15.  Now he is with a different organization, the U.S. Marines.  He is currently stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina but he is scheduled to come home for a couple weeks then return to North Carolina for preparation for deployment in Iraq a couple of weeks after that.  As a member of an armor car battalion, Jordan will spend at least eight months over there. His proud father, Mike Stanton still patrols the rinks as a Beaver Division coach and frequent referee.
