JR's Tavern 5 Superior Plumbing 2

JR's knock Superior Plumbing out of the playoffs with a 5 to 2 victory.  JR's moves into the championship round to do battle with Somers Point Body Shop for the cup.

JR's was led by their Captain Austin Klock who scored twice and assisted on two other goals.  David Loefflad also had two goals while Matt Whitley lit the lamp once.  Timmy Malloy and Kyle Bender were the scorers for the Plumbers who had a nice playoff run this year.

Superior Plumbing 6 Cornerstone Construction 1

The playoffs opened up with an upset as sixth seed Superior Plumbing was able to knock off the third seed Cornerstone Construction.  Fast and Furious Kyle Bender scored four times while Pat Ciboldi and Dylan Costanza each had one for the plumbers.  Ryan Shook got the only goal for the construction company.

Dalton Bew grabbed a hat trick while leading his team, MSR, to victory.   Riley McGuigan and Smilin' Ryan Kelley each scored once.

Cornerstone Construction 2 McLaughlin and Struthers Realty 2

Cornerstone and MSR battled to a two-two tie to end the regular season.  Slick Nick Di Luzio scored the two goals for MSR while George Gazsi and Eric Seckinger were the scorers for the construction company.

JR's unloaded on the plumbers with a bevy of scores tonight.  Both Austin Klock and David Loefflad earned hat tricks.  Matt Whitely and Ricky Sykora each had a pair while Jesse Solanik got one as well.  Scoring for the plumbers were Kyle Bender, Pat Ciboldi, Tim Malloy, Dylan Costanza, and Cody Keich.

Somers Point Body Shop 6 JR's Tavern 3

The Body Shop finished out their regular season with a 6 to 3 victory over JR's.  Their record of 19 and 1 earned them a first seed going into the playoffs. 

Matt Harvey and Beau Turner each had two scores today for the Body Shop while Andrew Dipasquale and Dan "The Cannon" Johns each got one.  Mike Anderson turned in another strong performance between the pipes. Scoring for JR's were Jesse "The Wind" Solanik, David Loefflad, and Austin Klock.

Somers Point Body Shop 7 Cornerstone Construction 3

The Body Shop knocked down Cornerstone 7 to 3.  Dan "The Cannon" Johns had two while Nick "The Rocket" Rutkowski had a pair as well.  Tyler Cosmo, Andrew DiPasquale, and Beau Turner each lit the lamp once for the body shop.  Eric Seckinger, Jack Woolston, and Joe Tyrrell were the scorers for Cornerstone.

McLaughlin and Struthers Realty 3 JR's Tavern 2

Another classic battle between these two teams.  This was the fourth time they have met this season and the fourth time the game went into overtime. Two of previous matches ended in ties and JR's came out on top in the other contest.  But tonight was to be MSR's night to celebrate.  The first period was played even with no scores but JR's climbed to a two zero lead with goals from David Loefflad and Matt Whitely.  Austin Klock and Ricky Sykora had the assists on those goals. 

Half way thru the second period MSR decided to finally answer with some crisp passing from Chris Kelley and Riley McGuigan, Dalton Bew put one in the net.  With less then three minutes to go in the game Colin McGuigan was able to get himself in front of the net and work one in with Dalton earning the assist. 

Into the overtime period, they went.  Up and down play with all the fans on the edge of their seats.  With time winding down, Big Dalton Bew took the ball at center rink and beat the defense getting a clean break on the goaltender.  Like a shark feasting on its prey, the goalie never had a chance as Dalton went "top shelf" and team MSR erupted in celebration.

Both goalies, Chris Kazcmarski for MSR and Brandon Gormley for JR's played out of their minds.  Making tough save after tough save. 

Cornerstone Construction 4 IIP Mortgage 3

The second game of the evening was a penalty filled slug fest between the Construction Company and The Mortgage Company.  Cornerstone was able to come out on top with Matt Barella scoring twice and Jack Woolston and Eric Seckinger each getting one.  Aaron Bellinger lit the lamp twice for IIP while David Kelly scored the other one.

The Body Shop dented Cornerstone 10 to 4 today.  Leading the Body Shop with a hat trick was Andrew DiPasquale.  Big Dan "The Cannon" Johns had two as did Beau Turner and Tyler Cosmo and even Nick Rutkowski help with a goal.  Eric Seckinger and Gary Meyer each had a pair for the construction company.

The Body Shop added to their win total again today with another shut out.  Andrew DiPasquale lead his team by scoring a hat trick. Matt Harvey, Nick Bryan and the Rocket Nick Rutkowski all score one.  Mike Anderson earned the shut out in the net.

JR's took it on the chin losing to the second place team, Cornerstone Construction.  Magic Matt Barella really shined today with a hat trick and one assist.  Joe Tyrrell scored the other two for Cornerstone.  Chris Hutton had some dazzling saves as the goaltender.  Jesse Solanik, Ricky Sykora, and David Loefflad were the scorers for JR's.

Riley McGuigan was all over the place today as he scored three times for a hat trick and assisted on the other goal by Dalton Bew.  Chris Kazcmarski earned the shut out for MSR. Smiling Ryan Kelley was very strong on defense.

MSR bounced back from a bad performance to take down IIP for a 6 to 1 victory.  Chris Kelley and Dalton "The Gentleman" Bew lead the team with two goals each while Riley McGuigan and Eric Fournier had one a piece.  Seldom used back-up goaltender Colin McGuigan turned in a strong performance for MSR.  Justin Sannio had the lone goal for the mortgage company.

The Body Shop slapped around MSR for three periods.  Even without the "Rocket" Body Shop was dominating.  Matt Harvey stood out with a hat trick.  Andrew Dipasquale scored twice while Tyler Cosmo and Beau Turner each had one.  Mike Anderson earned the shut-out between the pipes.

The Captain of JR's, Austin Klock scored two while Jesse Solanik also had two.  David Loefflad had the other score as JR's foreclosed on the Mortgage Company.  Brandon Gormley had a strong game between the pipes for the Tavern. Guy Loggi and David Kelly scored for IIP.

Cornerstone took it hard to Superior, beating them 9 to 4.  Jack Woolston earned a hat trick while Matt Barella scored twice for Cornerstone.  Also scoring for the construction company were Eric Seckinger, Cory Santora, and Gary Meyers.  Pat Ciboldi and Kyle Bender each had two for the plumbers.

The scoring sensation known as Kyle Bender lit the lamp four times to lead his team of plumbers to victory over IIP.  Kyle was all over the place.  Matt Maiman scored the other one for Superior.  David Kelly had two while Guy Loggi scored one for the Mortgage Company.

These two teams have met three times this season and each contest has gone into overtime.  This one and the last one ended as ties, the season opener was won by JR's.

David Loefflad and Matt Whitely score the goals for JR's today.  While Brandon Gormley was strong in the net.  Nick Di Luzio and Riley McGuigan lit the lamp for MSR while Chris "The Monster" Kazcmarski handled the duties between the pipes.

The Surging Mortgage Company grab their second win in a row.  David Kelly score twice while Justin Sannio scored on a nice break away.  Guy Loggi had the other goal.  Joe Corsetti looked very strong in the net.  Eric Seckinger knocked in two while Jack Woolston scored once.

The Body Shop bounce right back after suffering their first lost of the season the night before, beating Cornerstone 8 to 3.  Big Dan Johns put in two while the scoring machine known as the Rocket, Nick Rutkowski, put in four.  Tyler Cosmo also netted two for the Body Shop.

JR's handed The Body Shop their first loss of the season in an exciting Sunday afternoon contest.  It was one of those classic back and forth type games. Tied late in the third period when Mr. Jesse Solanik took center stage and put in the game winner with just 24 seconds left.  The crowd erupted.

Captain Austin Klock scored two for JR's while Ricky Sykora had the other one.  Mark Puterbaugh, Beau Turner, and Nick "The Rocket" Rutkowski were the scorers for The Body Shop.

IIP took JR's into overtime but Jesse Solanik knock home the winner to seal the victory for JR's.  Rachael Kelly scored the goal for the mortgage company while Joe Corsetti was very strong in the net.  Austin Klock scored the other goal for JR's.  Brandon Gormley was a wall in the nets earning the win.

In what can only be called the game of the year, the Body came out on top of JR's 7 to 6.  Nick Rutkowski was all over the place scoring three goals and earning three assists.  Beau Turner and Tyler Cosmo each scored once while Andrew Dipasquale had a pair.  Ricky Sykora had a hat trick while Austin Klock, Matt Whitely, and David Loefflad each scored once for JR's.  It was noted by several in attendance that the refereeing was not up to par.

Thomas Hagenbach was the difference in this contest.  He scored the first goal for MSR and assisted on the second goal that was scored by Colin McGuigan.  Kyle "The Flame" Bender scored the lone goal for the plumbers.  Nick Di Luzio and Pat Dutton were suffocating on defense for MSR while Chris Kazcmarski was a wall in the net.  Part time goalie Cody Keich was strong between the pipes for Superior.

The Body Shop stayed perfect in spite of missing the "Rocket". Lil' Beau Turner picked up the slack by scoring four times and notching one assist. Tyler Cosmo pitched in with a pair of goals while Andrew D. got the other one.

"Smokin' Hot" Kyle Bender threw in a 5 spot for the plumbers as that earned their second win.  Hersh Anand had the other one for Superior while Matt Broomall and Guy Loggi each scored twice for the Mortgage Company.

MSR and IIP battled back and forth all day long.  Strong play was shown on both sides of the ball by both teams.  Nia Nikolaidis play a great for IIP as did Tom Hagenbuch did for MSR.  Pat Dutton scored the tying goal for MSR in the 3rd period.  David Kelley opened the scoring for IIP in the 2nd.

With the Christmas spirit in the air, Somers Point Body ruined MSR's day.  Andrew DiPasquale lit the lamp for the first two goals.  Dan "The Hammer" Johns blasted one in  while "Swift" Nick Rutkowski showed that he has a big time slap shot to go with his dazzling speed while scoring one towards the end of the second period.  Tyler Cosmo topped off the scoring "southern style" with one in the third.  Mike Anderson earned the shut out in the net.  Coach McGuigan of MSR had no comment.

Cornerstone put a hurting on the plumbers 8 to 3.  Eric "The Man" Seckinger scored a hat trick while Jack Woolston put in two.  Cory Santora, Matt Barrella, and Katie Woolston each scored one for the "Orange Crush".  George Gazsi was very strong in the nets considering he just came back from an extended layoff due to sickness and does not normally play between the pipes.  Kyle "The Sniper" Bender had all three goals for the plumbers.

Somers Point Body kept their record perfect while beating IIP Mortgage in a surprisingly tight game. Nick "The Rocket" Rutkowski had another multi-point game with two goals and two assists.  The other two goal were scored by The pride of Georgia Tyler Cosmo.  Mike Cuculino had a strong defensive game for the Body Shop.  David Kelley scored the two for IIP.

Despite a season high six minutes worth of penalties, MSR knocked down Cornerstone 5 to 1.  Chris Kazcmarski was dynamite in the net, turning away shot after shot.  Dalton "Smooth as Silk" Bew threw two in while teammates Riley McGuigan, Nick Di Luzio, and Chris Kelley also found the net for MSR. Thomas Hagenbuch looked strong after a long layoff.  Eric Seckinger was the lone scorer for Cornerstone.

Cornerstone Construction took it hard to Superior Plumbing on a dark cold Friday night.  Long time teammates Eric Seckinger and Jack Woolston each had two goals.  It seems like forever that these two have been putting a hurting on their opponents together. Joe Tyrrell and "Magic" Matt Barrella each had one for Cornerstone.  Chris Hutton played out of his mind in the net.  The lone goal for the plumbers came off the stick of Cody Keich.

Superior started out fast and had a 4 to 1 lead after the first period but then MSR woke up.  Riley McGuigan had a career type day with a hat trick and three assists to match. Dalton Bew had his own hat trick while assisting on two others. Big Boy Pat Dutton drilled one into the back of the net to round out the scoring for MSR.  Ryan Dagastino was strong on the defensive side. Scoring for Superior was Kyle "The Flame" Bender with two and Cody Kiech with a hat trick.

The "Green Machine" better known as McLaughlin and Struthers Realty took it hard to IIP Mortgage on Saturday, winning 8 to 1.  Dalton Bew used his considerable skill and talent to score four times and assist on two other goals.  Chris Kelley scored a pair while also having two assists.  His younger brother Ryan Kelley slid up to offense from his usual defensive position and scored a goal in the third period.  Colin McGuigan had the other score for MSR.  Chris Kazcmarski was sharp between the pipes.   Justin Monroe was the lone scorer for IIP.

The Body Shop kept their unbeaten record going as they lumped up on Superior Plumbing.  As usual Nick Rutkowski figured into the scoring.  He had a pair of goals and three assist.  Teammate Ray Giampapa lit the lamp 4 times to lead all scorers.  Dan Johns, Andrew DiPasquale, and Matt Harvey each had a pair of goals as The Body Shop continues to spread around the scoring.  The fast and furious Kyle Bender did every thing he could to keep the plumbers in the game.  He scored 4 times while Dylan Costanza and Cody Kiech each got one.

Cornerstone Construction suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of JR's.  Austin Klock scored all five goals unassisted. Brandon Gormley had a sharp game in the net.  Matt Barrella scored the lone goal for Cornerstone.

Somers Point Body Shop 5 McLaughlin and Struthers Realty  4

MSR gave The Body Shop all they could handle but Nick Rutkowski had the last word in over time scoring just 6 seconds in to the extra period.  MSR led the entire game until Beau Turner tied it up with just 30 seconds left in the 3rd period. MSR committed a critical penalty with just 11 eleven seconds to go.  Nick took the face-off in the 4th period and using his well known speed put it in the back of the net for the win.  It was Nick's second goal of the day.  Matt Harvey and Dan Johns also scored for The Body Shop.  Dalton Bew scored all four goals for MSR with the help of some dazzling passing by his teammates.

Somers Point Body Shop continued on their winning ways by defeating JR's 6 to 3.  Andrew Dipasquale had a break out night with 4 goals.  Dan Johns lit the lamp once while "playmaker" Nick Rutkowski had four assists to go along with his own goal.

Cornerstone Construction kept their record unblemished with a win over IIP 9 to 4.  IIP was down early but kept battling thru out the game to make it respectable.  Matt Broomall, Justin Monroe, David Kelly, and Guy Loggi all scored for the mortgage company.  Jack Woolston netted a hat trick to lead the construction company.  Gary Myers had a pair as did Eric Seckinger while Matt Barella and Joe Tyrrell also found the net.

MSR took it to the Plumbers 8 to 2.  Dalton Bew lit the lamp 4 times as he has finally gotten use to playing without skates on his feet. Chris Kelley knocked one in so hard that it blew a hole thru the back of the net.  Big Pat Dutton, speedster Nick Di Luzio, and Colin McGuigan each had one for the realty company.  Strong defensive play was turned in by Ryan Kelley and Ryan Dagastino.  Long time goal keeper Chris Kazcmarski was sharp in the net. The fleet footed Kyle Bender had the two scores for Superior.

The Plumbers flushed JR's 7 to 4.  Scoring sensation Kyle Bender had a hat trick while teammate Cody Keich scored two.  Big Patrick Ciboldi also had two for Superior.  Jesse Solanik had a break out game for JR's , netting his first hat trick while Austin Klock scored the other one.

The Body Shop put together a great team effort in notching their second win of the season.  Spreading the scoring among many players. Nick Bryan had his second two goal game while Nick Rutkowski turned in a hat trick. Dan Johns, Matt Harvey, and Andrew Dipasquale each lit the lamp once.  David Kelly had the lone goal for the Mortgage Company.

MSR grabbed their first win of the season by foreclosing on IIP.  Dalton Bew had two while Chris Kelley put in his first of the season.  Chris Kaczmarski handle the goalie duties for MSR.  Guy Loggi scored for IIP.

Nick Bryan and Beau Turner led the scoring for The Body Shop with a pair of goals each.  Nick Rutkowski and Dan Johns each got one while Mike Anderson was very strong as the Body Shop's netminder. Pat Cibaldi prevented the shot out while scoring for the plumbers.

JR's and Cornerstone battled to a 4 to 4  tie thru three periods.  With just 11 second gone in the extra period, Jack Woolston stuffed one in the net to end it. He was assisted by Eric Seckinger and Matt Barrella with some dazzling display of team play.  It was Jack's second goal of the game while Matt Barrella also had two while Gary Meyers had the other for Cornerstone. Matt Eagan had a pair for JR's while David Loefflad and Austin Klock also scored.

JR's Tavern 4 McLaughlin and Struthers Realty 3

The cadet season opened with a bang as JR's and McLaughlin and Struthers Realty battled to a three three tie for three periods.  JR's Austin Klock ended it in overtime with a goal off of a rebound in front of MSR's net.  Goalie Colin McGuigan made the first save but was unable to control the rebound as Klock knocked it home for the victory.  It was Klock's second goal of the night.  A bright spot for MSR was the play of roller hockey stud Dalton Bew who crossed over to the street hockey world with two goals in his debut.
